U.S.?
I left a comment on JV’s blog and I said:
Hi,
I am from the United States, and I was wondering what you think when you hear the words “United States”. I would really appreciate it if you could leave your reply on my latest post on my blog.

I am waiting for their response.

SHS! :]
Only a few more months ! :] Thenn it’s goodbyeeee to MMS, FINALLY. I’m really excited for highschool. I’m going to SHS, and a bunch of my friends are there, and I finally get to see them everyday. :] I’ve always kind of hated MMS, so I’m happy to be almost out.
But then again, I kind of don’t want to go to SHS yet, because firstly, my brother will be there. My brother has always been a kind of bully, and I don’t really want him in my school. Plus, it’s gunna be a change from having every minute of your day planned out and controlled, then all the sudden you can do whatever you want. I know kids who missed their bus on the first day of school, because they had no idea where it was. Since you have to find your bus yourself, it’s going to be hard. Plus, I don’t know if I’ll be able to handle all of the work. My brother told me not to take any honors classes, but I’m in two. My brother is lazy, so that’s why he told me not to take honors classes. Still though, I don’t want to be overloaded with work, and have no time to have fun.
I am kind of excited about the fact that we have block scheduling, though. I had it last year, and it was great because if I didn’t have time to do work for my class, or if I forgot something for the class at school, or if I just didn’t feel like doing the work, I had another day.
One thing I am worried about, however, is my reputation at SHS. My brother isn’t a very good student, and he ignores teachers and everything. I have this feeling that many of the teachers hate him, and if they find out that I’m his sister, they may think I’m just like him and hate me as well. At the orientation, my mom talked to the vice principal, and my mom mentioned my brother. When my mom told him that I was nothing like my brother he said “Thank God.” So, one person already thought that I might be like my brother. That disappoints me, but I plan on showing the teachers that I am nothing like my brother.

Democrat or Republican?
Democrats are basically people who believe that people should work in a big group, while republicans are basically people who believe that people should work individually and they have strict rules. When I’m eighteen and I register to vote, as of right now I plan on registering as a democrat. There are many things that I agree with the republican side more on, but for the things that are most important to me I more agree with the democratic side. There are only a few issues that I agree more with the Republican side, but those issues are much less important to me. So that is why once I’m 18, I will register to vote as a democrat.

The Essay.
http://www.teachertube.com/view_video.php?viewkey=6ce650cdcf4322e63dee
I think that this video was about how anything is possible. The little girl has this idea about a cell phone, and everyone thinks that it is stupid and impossible and they’re all laughing at her, yet we actually have many different types of phones that can do exactly what she says and we are coming up with new types everyday. This shows that anything is possible because in just a short time we went from phones with screens that light up with one green light to phones with touchscreen, internet, digital camera, and videos. If you can do all of these things to a phone in a short time, then I believe that almost anything is possible, and that’s what this video makes me think.
